Tens of thousands of people, locals and tourists, take part each year in two of the greatest open air live shows held on the Romanian seashore: “Europa FM Live on the Beach” and “Europa FM Live Symphony – a Whole New World”. Thus, on the evening of the 1st of August, on the stage built just for this show on the beach between Venus and Saturn, the Europa FM Live on the Beach mega concert brought to the public, in a sizzling atmosphere, some of the most beloved Romanian artists: Vunk, Voltaj, Loredana, Holograf, Vama and Smiley. All attendants enjoyed a complete music and lights show but also a beautiful fireworks show. The artists enchanted the public for 4 hours with both new and old songs. During the second night, the National Theatre Orchestra and Opera and Ballet Theatre “Oleg Danovski” Constanta took the stage in an original symphonic rock concert, Europa FM Live Symphony. The show premier was held by 100 artists who played original interpretations of famous songs such as Deep Purple – Smoke on the Water, Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody or Andrew Lloyd Webber – Don’t cry for me Argentina. Singers Smaranda Draghici, Doru Iftene, Razvan Sararu of the Constanta Opera House, Madeleine Pascu of the Bucuresti National Opera and special guests Daniela Vladescu of the Bucuresti Opera and Music Theatre made for an unforgettable night. The author and conductor for the concert was Ionut Pascu, a remarkable representative of the new generation of lyrical artists.
